Drinking at office parties, get-togethers with friends, Christmas Eve, Christmas dinner and of course the big one, New Years Eve are all part of the festive season and at most, if not at all of these occasions, alcohol consumption is part of the social mix. But we don’t have to be a party-pooper if we’re watching our weight.

I thought I would try the brownies . Like many of the recipes in this cookbook the brownie recipe is huge. I halved it.

I hope other recipes in the book are better…but I will probably use the book to start my New Year’s eve fire. At least it would be good for something. Rating: 1 / 5.

Now in my opinion Ina Garten is the queen of Brownies , and I have a few friends who feel the same way but unfortunately her recipes make a lot of brownies . I also find this recipe is no fail
